Making cookies

On Wednesday, Todd had the day off and decided to surprise Gavin with making sugar cookies. They cut them into christmas tree shapes, and after Todd put the frosting on them, Gavin put the sprinkles on the cookies...and the table...and the floor :-) He was SO excited that he got to help make cookies.

I think licking the beater was just as much fun!

Gavin decided to become Mr. Fix-it over the weekend and started making a door out of this box.

This last picture is one of an art project that Gavin did while he was at preschool. I had to laugh when I read what the picture was supposed to be of. His teacher wrote what Gavin said it was, at the bottom of the picture, and it's totally something I could picture Gavin saying. Just some background info...Gavin's been ADDICTED to Star Wars Episode I. Until he discovered Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, all he wanted to watch was Star Wars. Our entire family has been sick for the last two weeks, so we've been spending a lot of time indoors, trying to take it easy and get over our colds...and so we spent quite a lot of time laying in bed watching movies...only Gavin wanted to watch Star Wars, over and over!

This is how he described his artwork. "I was trying to make a swoggle, it's kinda like a woggle on Star Wars."

This last part is for Holly....when I asked him today what that last picture was supposed to be, he replied, "It's a picture of Gavin loves Holly!"
